Description
SPF stainless steel sterile filter housings are designed specifically for use in the process industry applications. Given the high risk of corrosion that can affect components in compressed air systems, using these housings is crucial. They provide a dependable safeguard against potential damage to system components. Additionally, these reliable housings can cater to various applications; by selecting the appropriate filter element, you can achieve the desired quality of compressed air.
Our sterile VSF filter elements are also available for this filter housing. They feature a depth filter media made of borosilicate glass microfibers. Moreover, this ensures the removal of sub-micron particles as small as 0.01mm, including bacteria. The filter media, reinforced with NOMEX*, is sandwiched between two stainless steel mesh cylinders and enclosed in stainless steel end-caps.
The outcome is a robust filter element that guarantees efficient filtration, enabling numerous steam sterilization cycles of up to 150°C.
