Gas Generators
Nitrogen and oxygen generators utilise Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology to separate nitrogen/oxygen from other gases present in the air. The process begins with compressed air passing through filters and an activated carbon tower to eliminate dust, oil, and water. The purified air then enters one of two adsorption vessels filled with carbon molecular sieves (CMS). These sieves capture remaining impurities like carbon dioxide and moisture at the start of the adsorbent bed. The PSA process in oxygen generators closely mirrors that of nitrogen generators, with the only difference being the use of molecular sieves (MS) instead of carbon molecular sieves (CMS).
