Description

The F-DRY adsorption heatless air dryer continuously separates water vapor from compressed air, effectively lowering the pressure dew point. The F-DRY series includes two columns filled with desiccant beds, a controller with an LCD display, valves, manometers, a sturdy support structure, and filter housings containing the necessary filter elements.

In this system, the first column adsorbs moisture under pressure, while the second column regenerates using a portion of already dried compressed air at ambient pressure. When the first column reaches a specified saturation level, the system switches to the second column, allowing the adsorption process to continue without any pressure drop at the dryer outlet.

Moreover, the regeneration of the saturated desiccant occurs by decompressing a small portion of the previously dried compressed air. As a result, this expansion produces extremely dry air, known as “purge air,” which flows in reverse through the saturated column. Ultimately, this process expels the adsorbed water molecules, releasing them back into the ambient environment.
